Sensio Insight is the winner of the EHiN Awards 2024. «This effort optimizing tool addresses one of the biggest sustainability challenges in healthcare», according to the jury.

Every year, Norway's largest e-health conference, EHiN, awards the best digital health solution of the year. The award will honor groundbreaking digital solutions that contribute to a better healthcare experience for patients, relatives and employees.

On November 12th, Sensio received the EHiN Awards 2024 in fierce competition with 26 other strong solutions within a wide range of e-health providers. Among the 27 solutions nominated for the award, Sensio ended up in the final against Noteless, as well as AI-supported radiotherapy from Haukeland University Hospital and Lukas Andreas Hirschi.

It is a great pleasure and an important recognition for us at Sensio to receive this award. We are incredibly proud of Sensio Insight, which we have developed in close collaboration with six Norwegian local authorities. A big thank you to EHiN, the jury and our customers who have contributed with valuable insights to make this innovative solution so successful, says Sensio's Product Director Jon Slorer.

Better decision support

Sensio Insight is a unique solution within care technology that automatically provides healthcare professionals with better decision support for personalized care, based on objective sensor data. It enables proactive measures that ensure healthcare professionals can provide faster and better help to patients and residents.

– With the demographic challenges we face with a sharp increase in the number of elderly and people with dementia as well as less qualified healthcare professionals, Sensio Insight provides benefits for both caregivers, healthcare professionals and relatives. We are well on our way to creating a new generation of decision support tools that give healthcare professionals more time for care, and we have ambitious plans for the further development of this solution. The recognition from EHiN and the jury gives us strong motivation to continue working to develop products and solutions that will help solve the challenges facing healthcare in the future, says Jon Slorer.

Impressed the jury

Sensio Insight impressed the jury with its innovative approach and its clear focus on improving the everyday lives of both patients and healthcare professionals through a comprehensive digital solution. Their reasons for awarding the prize to Sensio Insight are:

«The jury considers Sensio Insight an innovative decision-support solution that enables healthcare providers in elderly care to deliver person-centered care based on data collected from sensors and alarms. The solution is comprehensive and thoughtfully designed, developed through a user-driven innovation partnership with Norwegian local authorities. It demonstrates how existing sensor technology can be utilized in new and innovative ways. This effort optimizing tool addresses one of the biggest sustainability challenges in healthcare.»
