As one of the first in the country, the welfare technology company Sensio has four products qualified to use the «Made in Norway» label.

«Made in Norway» is a new trademark administered by Innovation Norway, the official Norwegian trade promotion organisation. Norway is known for its commitment to responsible business practice, sustainability and social equality as well as for high quality. The Made in Norway label is established to capitalise on these values and enhance the competitiveness of Norwegian products and services on the international market. It is also a part of a larger strategy from the Norwegian Government to increase Norway's international competitiveness.

Four of Sensio's products are now qualified to use the Made in Norway label. To use the label, companies must fulfil criteria pertaining to origin, responsibility and sustainability.

Sensio is a Norwegian company that was founded in 2009 and today has several hundred customers in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the UK, and is experiencing strong international growth.

The four welfare technology products from Sensio that qualify for use of the Made in Norway label are RoomMate, Sensio 365, Sensio Pocket and IKOS.

Useful in all markets

Sensio is proud to be among the first Norwegian companies to use the Made in Norway label in its marketing and communication, which will be useful in both existing and new markets.

– Healthcare services across Europe is struggling with the same challenges linked to a lack of healthcare personnel and a large generation of elderly people who require more help and support than what is available. These are challenges that Sensio help solve, not only in Norway, but also outside Norway's borders. The Made in Norway label will be useful for us in the marketing of Sensio, and in that way contribute to us reaching more markets in Europe more quickly, says Torbjorn Aamodt, CEO of Sensio.
